I can hear it ebb and flow
Feel it come and go
You can see its show
In all you see and know
Open up your heart
To every single part
Of the universal art
That's been here from the start
It transcends mere sight
It gives your soul flight
You feel what's truly right
With all your spirit's might

Friends who think they know what's best for you
Alright, buds. Listen. We know you all love us, but please, take a chill pill. Unless it's obviously an immediate life or death situation, stay out of it. We need to make our own decisions because we are the only ones who have walked in our shoes. Even if you have had the same situations go on with you, it is still different. It impossible to see what we see, know what we know, feel what we feel because it will always be observed from our angle. We all observe things according to our unique mind and soul. So the only one who truly knows what is best is us. We must look for the answers inside ourselves. When you butt in, it just messes up the process and can make you seem either controlling or that you just don't want us to be happy with what we are trying to do. You cannot decide our lives for us. That is our job. By all means, help us with the load. Give us moral support. Help us to feel better about ourselves. THAT is your job. Friends are there as a shoulder to lean on in times of need. But we must choose which direction to take. Consider yourself ignorant to what we are going through. It will empty your cup, make you open minded, so that you may accept our water to fill it.

Some thoughts I have had today
This is my first real post. The rest I just copied from my Facebook notes. A lot, huh? Well, I am into philosophy so that is what I would like to talk about today. I have been thinking about what life really is. The biggest question of them all. And though I have many years ahead of me, I have learned quite a bit. Through books, shows, talking to older people, and some other mediums. I first started off thinking about why we do the things we do. Well, all of it leads to a single thing: Pleasure. You have it when you eat, drink, sleep, and, for many people, when you do good by yourself or others. It is mostly metaphysical chemical reactions in the brain, but I have reason to believe the soul plays a part. Because anything can be right or wrong. We can learn any way we want, through tradition or society. But we still have that feeling that seems to come from nowhere, guiding our choices. It can even go against our own survival. This compassion goes against Darwin's "survival of the fittest" because why would we go back for a fallen comrade when there is no need? It is our soul. So that in itself lets you in on our purpose. Follow our soul. But, why must we follow our soul? I must look deeper to see true reasons. Well, we were created by God. Atheists, don't back out on me now. Hopefully you have read my proof and are not too skeptic anymore. If you haven't, read it, then continue. So, we came from him and one day we will return. The opposit of life is not death. Life never ended nor did it begin. It has always been there through Him and always will be. It is just in which realm you reside. In this realm, He has put us here to be worthy. It is why we have free will. We must face the temptations and come out standing strong. Only this allows us to be worthy of His kingdom. If it didn't matter then we would all be mindless slaves. So, that is the purpose for why we are here, I believe. But that can't be it. life has so much to offer. So much to gain. He made it like this for a reason. Throughout time, you see learning taking place. This knowledge is always passed down from generation to generation. Kept sacred. This knowledge is the fruit of life. finding true answers and spreading them around to the next of kin. It allows us to truly experience what God has given us. Appreciate it. This does not only mean how things work, though that is very important, but to see things that are here. Explore yourself, others, and the universe that has been placed before you. But remember not to stray from the righteous path. See it as a gift, a true experience, rather than utilizing it for evil. Which would pretty much be harming your fellow neighbor. This free will is meant to give us a chance to show how we can be strong. use it like that. And we are not all the same either. We do not all serve the same purpose. The free will is also there to give us individuality. We cannot see something from another person's shoes no matter how hard we try. In this, we are unique. So we all have our own purpose. It is not laid before us, set in stone. you must make it yourself. Your choices are what matter. What is in your heart. What your soul says is right. But there is a master plan and others who have free will, so it is not absolute. Each decision has a shelf life. After that period, is is left to the winds of change. But it still has its origin. You made that choice and the effect can greatly differ from another choice you would have made. So you do have the power, but it is rarely what you intend for it to be. The bigger the choice, the more different it can turn out. So as long as you did what you know is right, all will be fine. Life may throw some screwballs too. But it all happens for a reason. Everything that is done to you is so you can learn from it and use that knowledge for when you need it. And then there are drastic things that no one can stop. That little girl dying of cancer. Things like that. They, too, happen for a reason. But trying to know what that reason is is like a bug trying to learn calculus. It just can't be done. We must have faith in knowing that all will turn out well. So, in the end, you make your own purpose through the tools you have been given and you share whatever knowledge you have learned. that is what I believe our true purpose is.
Some interesting thoughts...
everything we do is for pleasure, whether it is directly, like eating, or indirectly, like working an unwanted job to earn money to have fun. sometimes, we do it at the expense of others, like lying to make ourselves feel better, even when it hurts someone else. but pretty much, you can point out anything you do and it is all for pleasure. is this the purpose of life? not entirely. we are only able to feel pleasure because it motivates us to live, to prosper, to search for more meaning. that, my friends, is where the answer really is. the search for more knowledge. we have a hole in our hearts that cannot be filled. it is constantly being crammed with more answers but for every answer is two more questions. everyone has their part, too. we are all one single organism, looking for more and more answers. you cant always find what part you have in this everlasting quest, but you are all somehow related. one day, our quest will come to an end. not because we have all the answers, but because we know too much. we will collapse under our own accomplishments.
My thoughts on religion
it is so sad. people are so desperate for an answer to the great questions of life(where did we come from, what is our purpose, what is right, etc..) that they will do or believe anything without really looking at the whole picture. pretty much, most people just go for the easy answer. other people try to interpret things to their liking, as long as it suits them. and then some people take the answers for granted and use them to control people. i would like to present my cases and please keep in mind i am not prejudiced toward any religion.
the quran, the book the muslim religion is based on, is just the interpretation muhammud, a prophet in the views of muslims, got from the bible. he read the bible and wrote what he thought it meant. people interpreted it to kill infidels and such when it can mean so much more than that. but some people just like to take things and interpret it to their suiting. if leaders tell the people the answers to all their questions, then the people are under the control of the power of knowledge, so the leaders can say allah says to kill their enemy, all because of corruption.
in mormon, joseph smith, a prophet in the views of mormons, interpreted the bible so that he may share it with all those who believe. people followed him because he had an answer and it made enough sense to people so that they may follow the book of mormon. now, there is not actually anything in the book of mormon that you can interpret to be an extremist like there is in practically every other religion. all im trying to say is that its an answer that makes sense to its followers.
catholicism is a combination of christianity and paganism. now, the word pagan is an umbrella term used to describe those who are slow to learn widely accepted religion. but all those religions that opposed christianity were at war with the aforementioned religion. emperor constantine held the council of nicea to interpret the bible, remove controversial books, and add pagan celebrations. this was a necessary evil to save the world from turmoil. it, too, was an interpretation of an answer that made sense to its followers.
in conclusion, all im trying to say is that before you look at the simple answer, look at yourself. just do what you feel is the right thing to do. look inside yourself, truly look inside yourself, before you bother with all the rules, stories, and "answers" that religion provides because the answer is already in you.
now, for my opinion. i save it for last so as to not be biased. if you find any biased statements in this please let me know. i do believe in the holy trinity and how He is the creator and He gave his son to save us from our sins. i also believe that religion is an invention of man, it causes strife, and it was not the intention of Hm. i know that St. Peter was instructed by Jesus to form a way to WORSHIP Him, but thats it. all he wanted us to do was to give praise and learn how to lead a good life. it doesnt matter what we think He looks like, who did what when Jesus was alive, or any of that sort. the only facts we need to know are Jesus dies for our sins and God created us. everyting else we can learn here on earth on a day to day basis. God gave us all the answers we need in ourselves. He made us in his image, so we already know whats right through Him! we are all a part of Him. the bible has been tainted through time due to man, so just look inside yourself. that is all.
an input from Hannah Lancaster which i agree with but seemed to leave out: On the point of religon:
Religon is a man made concept, Religon tells us that for God to love us we have to do certain things we have: be straight, we cant ever commit a crime blahh blahh blahh, Its like they have a ready made list of these things we have to do for god to love us. A father does not say to his son, "i have made youu a list of things... Read More youu have to do, only after youu have done thses things shall i love youu" religon tells us that our father in god has told us this. But god always loved us and always will, the bible says we have to REPENT for our sins, that if we repent he will forgive us. the bible does not say that we have to do things to gain his love, it asks that we repent not that we do what this religon tell us to do.
Religon is not a godly thing, Religon asks us to be perfect, we are not perfect.
Catholics have interpreted religon to mean we should worship the vigin mary, and every other saint, frankly every catholic saint is to be turned into an idol in the name of god, we should not worship people only god :/.
Anyways yeahh i know its random just thought i add something ;)

True beauty
the body is but a lamp shade
the soul, its light
no matter a brocade
if the soul is not bright
shine with intensity
glow with strength
survive with density
and go that great length
if you shine with that light
and you shine with all your might
you will succeed in your plight
and happiness, you will ignite
the soul, its light
no matter a brocade
if the soul is not bright
shine with intensity
glow with strength
survive with density
and go that great length
if you shine with that light
and you shine with all your might
you will succeed in your plight
and happiness, you will ignite
A good friend
as the sun lays its weary head to rest
your soul still shines bright
it is a beacon of finesse
that glows through the night
the smiles it gives
are that of grace
on and on it lives
in your beauty's warm embrace
though the distance is far
the feeling remains the same
a great friend you are
and bright is your flame
your soul still shines bright
it is a beacon of finesse
that glows through the night
the smiles it gives
are that of grace
on and on it lives
in your beauty's warm embrace
though the distance is far
the feeling remains the same
a great friend you are
and bright is your flame
What it means
My heart is but aflutter
When i see that name pop up
You turn me into butter
Each trait cute as a hyssop
We talk for days
Through the twilight
I'm in a daze
You're my highlight
All that we have in common
It is so crazy, but great
I really love it a ton
I'm indubitably sate
Every message is fun
Every laugh is a dole
You are bright as the sun
With how you lift my soul
When i see that name pop up
You turn me into butter
Each trait cute as a hyssop
We talk for days
Through the twilight
I'm in a daze
You're my highlight
All that we have in common
It is so crazy, but great
I really love it a ton
I'm indubitably sate
Every message is fun
Every laugh is a dole
You are bright as the sun
With how you lift my soul
My first sonnet
As i know this wondrous thing,
I e'er tend to think on 't
I yearn to see it like spring
And it e'er comes up as blunt,
How now hither moves a gear,
Wherefore moves this blasted cog,
Somehow i am never here,
Always bemused in the fog,
It took this girl to spare me,
Her light like a flare for me,
I was saved from all this dark,
Because she chose to Love me
I e'er tend to think on 't
I yearn to see it like spring
And it e'er comes up as blunt,
How now hither moves a gear,
Wherefore moves this blasted cog,
Somehow i am never here,
Always bemused in the fog,
It took this girl to spare me,
Her light like a flare for me,
I was saved from all this dark,
Because she chose to Love me
Tell me all your thoughts on God cos I'm on my way to see her
The chaos theory states that seemingly random chaos has underlying order. A single event spawns a pattern, an equation, of things to come. They all must follow that first single event as long as there isn't any outside interference. Remember that. Now, the big bang was this single incident. It set off a chain of events to follow through even today. There is a set equation of everything that has happened after the big bang. But only without any interference. Now, with some interference, the equation is scrambled. The pattern falls apart. Free will is this interference. It could only have come from an energy source with intelligence. It would have to come from another system. This is God. He has given us free will. Without him, everything is predetermined. Everything we do, we do because that's what's supposed to happen. We have no real say. With God, though, we do have a say. We do what we like. We have love, art, all those feelings and emotions that make us human. We are not cold calculating machines built by an equation. We are life.
The Room
There is a room in which you stand
You must come to know this land
It is where you do your work
It is anything but bland
For you see it's like no other
You're put there by your mother
It's where you all shall lurk
With your every sister and brother
The Room gets hot and it gets cold
The work piles on and you get old
But beyond the door is the best perk
If you choose to remain bold
Tis not just beyond that makes you go
Happiness has its ebb and flow
It may just be another quirk
Or it is a beautiful glow
This sustenance is not always enough
Some cannot take the rough
They decide to go berserk
And shed their mortal slough
What lies beyond the door is great
It clears up your sullied slate
Gets rid of all that ugly murk
It is the pinnacle of your fate
But it must not be used so soon
In time you will get to the moon
Get through this crazy cirque
To those who are worthy, tis a boon
Maybe the door is just for ease
Knowing the escape is but a tease
You could leave behind its irk
But The Room, you must appease
Earn your right to use the door
Leave early and its just a chore
You must first do all your work
And be worthy to leave this bore
You must come to know this land
It is where you do your work
It is anything but bland
For you see it's like no other
You're put there by your mother
It's where you all shall lurk

The Room gets hot and it gets cold
